We accept many forms of payment for the convenience of our members, find all the ways you can pay below.

We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit or debit cards but to keep costs down, we only accept residential-type cards. 

You can pay on the SmartHub website with a checking or savings account or with a credit or debit card.  SmartHub allows members online access to account information and secure payment options. Members can choose paperless billing, update address and phone information, and view their bill as well as billing and consumption history.  Secure payment options include making online payments and enrolling for recurring bank and credit/debit card drafts. Bank account and credit card information can be saved for future online payments and can be changed for recurring drafts through SmartHub.

CTEC offers an app to make payments, report an outage, make account updates or view their electricity use on a daily, monthly or annual basis.  The app is available on iTunes or Google Play stores.  To download click the link below!

The convenience of SmartHub bill pay with no registration required. 

Set up auto pay with a checking or savings account or with a credit or debit card.

Member can set up one time or recurring payments through their bank.

If you want to pay your electric bill in cash, use the barcode on the back of your billing statement or in your Smarthub app to pay at locations such as Dollar General, Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, HEB, and participating convenience stores.

Please only send a check or money order through the mail.

Leave a payment any time of the day or night.  Please only pay by check or money order in drop boxes.

Make it easy to budget your monthly electric bill by paying the same amount every month.  Contact our Member Services Department at 1-800-900-2832 or email us at helpdesk@ctec.coop to apply.

We understand at certain times a member may need to make a payment after the due date.  In those situations, you can request to defer your payment to avoid disconnection.  If you need to make a payment arrangement, call our Headquarters at 1-800-900-2832 or email us at helpdesk@ctec.coop.

You can sign up for paperless billing!  Simply login to your SmartHub account (or create your online SmartHub account) and select the "My Profile" tab and select update my paperless settings.  Here you can turn the paperless option on for any or all of your accounts.
