William Leach was born in June of 2018. Several months after his birth, it was determined he had a rare neurological disease called bilateral perisylvian polymicrogyria. This disease affects motor skills like swallowing and hand and feet control. Unfortunately, Williams’s health problems continued as be began suffering from seizures and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy along with an array of other complications. His family must make multiple weekly trips for doctor appointments, emergency visits and therapy.
The CTEC Operation Round-Up Board of Directors approved a grant for of $1,000.00 in VISA cards and a $500.00 electric bill credit. The VISA cards can be used for fuel, hotels, food, parking and other costs associated with William’s care.
