The Operation Round-Up Board of Directors at Central Texas Electric Cooperative recently approved a grant to the Grace Center of Fredericksburg.  The Grace Center provides support and services for individuals affected by domestic violence in Gillespie County. The $2,500 grant will help fund the completion of a 36-bed shelter center and expand the center’s service offerings.  Operation Round-Up has lent support to community organizations in the Hill Country for many years, and it’s all because of CTEC members who
voluntarily participate. By having their electric bills rounded up to the next dollar each month, more than 1,500 enrolled co-op members have been able to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors.

CTEC members who haven’t yet signed up for Operation Round-Up can do so here, or calling any CTEC office to enroll one or all of their accounts. The average contribution comes to 50 cents per month or just $6 for a year.  One-time monetary contributions to Operation Round-Up are also accepted: Just call any CTEC office and tell the member service representative your preference. All donations are tax-deductible. It’s an easy, inexpensive way to become part of a great community program through your co-op membership.
