Bob will begin his retirement in January 2023 and is looking forward to hunting, golfing, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Since receiving notice of Bob’s retirement, CTEC’s board of directors has been conducting a CEO search, seeking an individual best suited to ensure the continued development and success of the organization.

On November 1, 2022, Atanacio “Tachi” Hinojosa will be joining Central Texas Electric Cooperative as Chief Executive Officer. Tachi comes to CTEC from Magic Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc., (Mercedes, Texas) with 15 years of co-op experience, most recently serving as their Western Division Manager.
